VOLUNTEER GUIDANCE FOR STEAK SUPPERS AND OTHER MEAL EVENTS
Members needing work hours are recommended to volunteer to serve, bus tables, and clean up.
Basic guidelines for volunteers:
You'll be serving food, hygiene is important (please stay away if you are sick).
All the cooking has been arranged, please don't show up expecting to volunteer to only cook.
Steak suppers serving begins at 7:00 pm sharp, please arrive early (at least 10 minutes, 20 would be better). Help is needed to stage the food for serving. Other meal times are set as published.
Clean up gets done quicker if all the volunteers stay until all the cleaning is completed; usually not later than 9:00 pm.
Eating before you get there is recommended. Although volunteers may be able to get something at the end after all has been cleaned up, it's not a guarantee.
It's your responsibility to ensure you sign in and sign out of the work party sheet. The work party sheet is maintained in the kitchen, see Dave Lapointe or Mike Rinne as soon as you arrive and prior to your departure.
Season appropriate attire for serving food is recommended.
This is not an inclusive list. You will probably be given additional guidance upon arriving.
BE SURE TO SIGN IN AND SIGN OUT TO GET CREDIT FOR YOUR WORK HOURS! Ensure all volunteers are documented by name. Print legibly - we have to be able to read your information.
Contact Dave LaPointe or Mike Rinne for further details.

"Until 1969 virtually every public high school—even in New York City—had a shooting club. High school students in New York City carried their guns to school on the subways in the morning, turned them over to their homeroom teacher or the gym coach during the day, and retrieved them after school for target practice. Club members were given their rifles and ammunition by the federal government. Students regularly competed in citywide shooting contests for university scholarships.
